The anticipation of Christmas can be experienced in a pleasurable way.
After this fantastic summer and the autumn in its glowing colors, it comes up nice and slowly - the anticipation of the quieter time! But not only silence, but also cozy experiences and festive mood characterize the weeks before and around Christmas.
Until December 22, 2024, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 13:00 to 19:00, we are pleased to offer you the opportunity to visit together our cozy, Christmas decorated Christkindlmarkt in the Kurpark.
The Ausseer Christkindlmarkt has this year again especially beautiful gift ideas and lots of handicrafts for you to offer: Starting from pine wood products, wooden lanterns, beekeeping products, beeswax candles, handicrafts to hand-knitted socks and hats, children's fashion such as headbands and hoods, painted Christmas baubles and much more.
For your physical well-being will of course also be provided. Smoked fish, jams, liqueurs and schnapps, bacon, sausages, cheese, homemade cookies, farmer's doughnuts, chestnuts, punch, mulled wine let gourmet hearts beat faster.
This beautiful mixture of handicrafts, gift ideas and enjoyment make the Ausseer Christkindlmarkt so special.
This year the Christkindl has thought of something special for our little ones: The pavilion will be transformed into a Christkindl woodworking workshop for children ages 5 and up. On child-friendly machines, the industrious craftsmen can create Christmas gnomes and much more with their own hands.
In addition, Zorro, Zenzi, Pauli and Prinz, the dear ponies of the horse friends Zloam, are looking forward to many children! The exact dates for the wood workshop and pony rides you can ask at the information office Bad Aussee.
Our Aussee merchants - who are already looking forward to your visit - create a Christmas atmosphere with their beautifully decorated stores. With a lot of intuition and expertise, the ladies and gentlemen will help you choose your Christmas gifts - they will advise you and find just the right thing for you and your loved ones. During a short break in between, you can enjoy a cozy coffee snack or one or the other dish in our coffee houses and catering establishments.
On the Advent weekends, the parking spaces in Bad Aussee are available free of charge - no parking fees!
